Poverty also leads to Poor parenting attitudes as a result of stressful life plus maternal psychopathology, which also affects parenting in these areas<\/p>\n Social disorganization of the inner city neighborhoods is also a cause of parenting challenges. Social control and social disorganization in these neighborhoods causes a variety of factors such as decreased family resources, such as existence of many single parent families and population turnover. There is also low trust among neighbors leading to low neighborhood cohesion causing low collectiveness in parenting.
